Good Kernel Snacks LLC ("Good Kernel," "we," "us") runs goodkernelsnacks.com and the text and email programs connected to it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@goodkernelsnacks.com.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, subscription choices, early-access and restock signups, messages to our support team, product reviews (name or initials, rating, text and photos), and survey answers.
Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically: your device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages you view, items you add to your cart, and how you found us. We collect this with cookies, pixels and similar tools.
Information from partners: which creator, link or QR code sent you to us, delivery updates from shipping carriers, and text and email engagement from our messaging provider.

How we use it

To take, ship and support your orders and subscriptions.
To send the texts and emails you signed up for, including early access and restock alerts.
To run promotions such as the free popcorn bucket and free shipping offers.
To credit the creator who referred you.
To prevent fraud and abuse, including misuse of discount codes.
To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to show you Good Kernel ads on other sites and apps.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Texts

If you text POPCORN to 1-833-327-3602 or sign up for texts on our site, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing texts at the number you gave us. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number or text consent with third parties for their own marketing.

We share personal information only as needed to run Good Kernel:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout and processes payments.
MasonHub, our warehouse, and the shipping carriers that deliver your order.
Passport, which handles orders shipped to Canada, including duties and taxes.
Attentive, which sends our texts and emails.
The service providers that run our reviews, surveys and subscriptions.
Analytics and advertising partners such as Meta, TikTok and Google, through cookies and pixels on our site.
Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
A buyer or successor, if Good Kernel is sold, merged or reorganized.

Creators who refer you see order counts and sales totals for their link or code, not your name or contact details.

Your privacy choices

We do not sell personal information for money. Some states treat ad cookies and pixels as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser.

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas and Virginia, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising. Email support@goodkernelsnacks.com to make a request. We will verify your identity before acting, and you can use an authorized agent. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.

Children

Our online store is for adults. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to make a purchase. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not send us your information; ask a parent instead. If you are a parent and think your child gave us personal information, email support@goodkernelsnacks.com and we will delete it.

If you are a California resident under 18 and posted something on our site, such as a review, you can ask us to remove it by emailing us.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally seven years. We keep marketing information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee it.

Where we process it

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will give you notice on the site or by email.
