Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to shop for Good Kernel popcorn on goodkernelsnacks.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We test the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand, including keyboard-only and small-screen checks, and we fix problems as we find them.

What's in place

• You can move through the site with a keyboard, and a clear outline shows which link or button you're on.
• The menu, the cart and pop-up windows keep keyboard focus inside them while they're open, and the Escape key closes them.
• Scrolling and rotating banners have a pause button.
• Images have text descriptions, and the ingredients and allergen information on our popcorn product pages is available as text.

Third-party features

Some parts of the site come from other companies, such as checkout, payment buttons, product reviews and subscription management. We don't control their code, so they may not meet the same standard. If one of them gets in your way, please let us know.
